Literacy and Languages

The Real Diary of a Guji Wife, in no way claims to be a work of great literacy or language. Niether the English nor the Gujarati are free from errors, rather they are full of errors.
While I have no excuses for my handicaps in English, Please note that the Guji is not ment to be flawless.
Fatima is from a generation that doesn't speak fluent Guji, she just understands it...and throws in a few nouns and phrases here and there for good measure.
Usually she is transcribing from memory the conversations she heard or had, where others have spoken in Gujarati.
Don't be offended, be humoured...

I've been writing for as long as I can remember but I never tried any fictional work on a large scale before. It didn't seem suitable. So credit needs to be given where it is due...
In no particular order:
surviving-the blog and the book, for making me realize that creativity should not be suffocated.
Diary of a GujiGirl and it's complaining commenters who sparked the idea of what a real guji wife would write about.
And my Sister, who took the first few pages I wrote as a joke and blogged it, after that, Fatima and her panchaat have moved into my head and I can't stop writing until she stops talking and moves out again.
