Unfortunately, I can't write fast enough due to time constraints and other commitments so all her drama and dandaas will come to you on Monday-Wednesday and Saturday mornings at 9am.

As promised this announcement is to confirm Season 2.

Fatima and all her panchaat will be back from 1st November.

I hoped to resume earlier but unfortunately things have been hectic and only 3 episodes are ready.

But get ready....PMB isn't the sleepy little town Fatima thought it would be...

can her marriage survive the long working hours Imraan puts in?
Is MiL missing them abit too much?
Does buying somebody's house mean you inherent the lifestyle too?
Does Gori Foi think they moved her for her?
Is Sabera ready too get married?
An unexpected death in the family, changes everything....

Announcement: Time for a Break

As Fatima gets ready to shift to her new hometown she wont have time to update her diary...so I am going to take a much needed break!

I know, i know...you don't want to hear that but I really need it.

When I wrote the first page of this story, I never thought it would turn into a series...
But here we are, more than 50 posts and more than 50 000 page views  later...

The live blog has finally caught up with Fatima's panchaat, all the preset post have been depleted.

So, Let Fatima shift and settle in and then we'll join her in PMB...

Coz I'm sure she will find panchaat wherever she is!

In the mean time, I need to recharge, work on the storyline, get fresh perspective and introduce some new characters...

Also, I need to set the stage for the ending.
So Real Guji Wife is going on a holiday...but we will be back, in our regular time slot (with a possible name change). Please check back on October 17th for an Announcement regarding Season 2.

Fresh ideas, new plots, old favourites and new characters and Fatima's nose for drama...Season 2 coming soon!

Announcement 6: Chapter 3

While Fatima and Imraan head of for a fancy pancy wedding, we have to sit tight and wait...

On Monday, Fatima will be back home, with a new set of drama and panchaat for Chapter 3.

Think relocating...second wives...tumblers  of water flying across the table...

Announcement 5: End of Chapter 2

As Fatima gets ready to jet of to Malawi, Chapter 2 draws to a close.

Next week we'll join Fatima and Imraan in Malawi for a 3 part Destination Mini Series that will be published Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Chapter 3 will begin Monday the 8th of September.

Re-name, Y'ALL!

so like the introduction and credits explain...this story was never ment to be a story or even a blog...it was a little piece i wrote to amuse my sister.

she blogged it and once I saw it, I just kept going...i didn't think it would gain readership either...but it has.

I'm currently typing part 37 and I feel like this story needs its own identity...its to long to be a spin off or little play up...

I'm thinking of renaming....

1. What do you think?
2. What name do you suggest?

I'd like to keep the description and slogan the same but you welcome to remix that too...

either comment with your suggestions or email them in:)

*maybe* if its super awesome we can make it a competition with a voting and a prize for the name I go with eventually...

Il be thinking too...otherwise, we can just stick with the current name...no sweat!

Announcement 4: Road Trips Mini series...

Fatima has been wanting to visit her family for a while now...so here comes a Roaaaad Triiiipppp...
She is amped to be going home and we amped to be meeting her side of the family.

This 3 Part Mini Series shows us around Port Shepstone and some of her old haunts and introduces new characters, obviously that means more panchaat, drama and majaah for us!

Flash back is over and its time to get back to the present. 
Tommorrow, Chapter 2 of 'The Real Diary of a Guji Wife' begins with Part 14.

Join Fatima for all her panchaat and excitement over her first wedding anniversary, Saleem's wedding, their plans to go to Malawi, her road trip to her home town, her Gyni appointment and why Dadi hasn't left after Eid...

With her knack for drama, MiLs interference and all the mischief makers, things are bound to get out of hand and go off track...

Message from the Author

Lets leave all Fatima's panchaat one side so i can tell you some of my own.

 I logged on to my blogger dashboard on Friday and couldn't believe my eyes! At first I thought I was seeing 'double double' like Imraan's Dadi, but after I refreshed a few times, I figured there was no mistake.

The blog views had shot up into the 4 digits...and climbed steadily over the weekend. The stats show log ins from around the world...

And me...im just dumbfounded...
I can't believe so many people are reading my story that was never intended to be a story in the first place.

I'm humbled, awestruck and ever so grateful. And since I write in advance of the live blog, I'm glad all my work isn't going to go to waste too.

Shukraan / Thank you so much. My story hardly seems worthy of all the attention, I am truly blown away.

I can only hope you continue to enjoy the story as the plot thickens and the storylines emerge, climax and ultimately reach its conclusion.

On the Admin Side:

I thought it would be a good idea to include two new page's to the blog...
One for all the recipes Fatima make's, it's actual food so why not. This ofcorse, my Administrative Assistant (aka:Sister) and I will do as and when we have time.

The second page would be for you to post recipes you think Fatima should try. From time to time, Il include a mention in the story of something from this page, eg:
"today for supper I made that cottage cheese pie that my friend Mariam told me about, she got the recipe from her BBM group Yumminess's"
So please, include all the details and credits under the title of your recipe when sharing.
